ITALIAN MEATBALLS AND SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. Romano cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. sweet basil
3 eggs

Mix in order given. Shape into small balls about the size of a walnut. Brown slowly in a frying pan. Makes 20 - 24 meatballs. After browning, drop in spaghetti sauce and simmer until thick.

SPAGHETTI SAUCE:

1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. olive oil
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. sweet basil
4 tomato paste cans of water

Chop onion and garlic and saute in olive oil. Add tomato paste and simmer three minutes. Add water and seasonings. Simmer while preparing meatballs.
