GRANDMA BETZ'S CARAMEL CORN | |
2 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup 1 stick butter 1 tsp. salt Mix and boil all the above ingredients for 5 minutes, then add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well and add to 18 cups popped corn (about 3 1/2 poppers full). Spread mixture on cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Don't forget to spray cookie sheets and mixing pans with Pam first!! |
