LACEY OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour plus 1 tsp.
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients. Pour over butter; add egg and vanilla. Drop by 1/4 teaspoon only onto cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil. Bake at 350°F for 5 to 6 minutes. Let cool; they will peel off the foil.
