FROZEN STRAWBERRY DESSERT | |
Crust: Melt in 9x13 pan 1/2 cup butter in oven. Remove from oven. Mix with fork into the melted butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 1 cup flour. Do not pat down, leave crumbly. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until brown. Break up to crumbs reserve 1/3 cup for topping. Cool before putting in filling. 3 egg whites, unbeaten 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 (10 oz.) frozen strawberry (Partially thawed, undrained) Beat all ingredients for ten minutes at high speed. Then fold in 9 ounce Cool Whip. Spread over crust, sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Place in freezer until needed. Does not have to be taken from freezer ahead of time. |
