SHELLS WITH CHEESE | |
1 pkg. Prince Shells 1 1/2 lb. ricotta or cottage cheese 1/4 lb. mozzarella or American cheese, shredded 1/3 c. Prince Parmesan grated cheese 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 c. chopped parsley 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. cracker meal 2 pt. jars Prince meatless spaghetti sauce Add 1 tablespoon of salt to 4 quarts of rapidly boiling water. Gradually add shells so that water does not stop boiling. Boil, uncovered, 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Drain portion of water, allowing shells to remain in warm water. Mix cheeses, eggs, parsley, salt and cracker meal. Remove one shell at a time from warm water. Stuff each shell with mixture, using tablespoon. Pour one pint jar Prince Sauce into large shallow casserole. Arrange stuffed shells in casserole. Add second pint of sauce. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. We make twice the stuffing for the shells. |
