SAUSAGE AND EGG QUICHE | |
1 uncooked pie shell 1 lb. pork sausage, cooked & crumbled 3 hard boiled eggs, peeled & cut into lg. chunks 1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated into lg. chunks 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 med. size green pepper, diced 1/4 c. pimiento 6 oz. evaporated milk 3/4 c. milk (whole) 4 eggs 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. Accent Pinch white pepper 1 tbsp. flour Place in pie shell, the sausage, hard boiled eggs, and cheddar cheese. In a small skillet place butter and green pepper and saute until tender crisp. Add pimiento, spoon over ingredients in pie shell. In a large bowl whisk together evaporated milk, whole milk, eggs, garlic, salt, Accent, white pepper and flour. Pour carefully into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or when knife is inserted it comes out clean. Let set 30 minutes before serving. |
