AU GRATIN POTATOES 
8 med. potatoes
8 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper (to taste)
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 c. crushed corn flakes

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Slice potatoes and boil until done. Drain potatoes and place in 2 quart casserole.

In medium saucepan, melt 8 tablespoons butter and blend in 6 tablespoons flour. Gradually add cream, stirring. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over potatoes. Top with cheese and crushed corn flakes. Bake until cheese melts (about 30 minutes) at 400 degrees. Serves 8.
