CINNAMON APRICOTS OR PEACHES IN CREAM | |
NOTE: To prevent browning of fruit; sprinkle with lemon juice. 4 lbs. peaches or apricots Wash fruit, cut in half, remove seeds, peel if desired. 1/3 c. sugar 1/3 c. water 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. heavy or whipping cream Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place peaches or apricots in 1 quart casserole. In small bowl combine sugar, water and cinnamon. Pour mixture over fruit. Bake for 20 minutes or until fruit is tender. Pour in cream and bake for 5 minutes longer. Serves 4-6. |
