FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. raisins
6 c. pecans
1/2 c. butter
3 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
Fruit juice glass of whiskey
1 lb. dates
1 lb. pineapple, candied

Cream butter and sugar together; add eggs. Sift 2 cups of flour with the cinnamon and nutmeg and add to the creamed mixture. Alternately with whisky and soda in milk. Pour remaining cup of flour over the fruit and add to the batter. Drop by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes.
