PUPPY CHOW 
8-8 1/2 c. Rice Chex
2 sticks butter, melted (do not use corn oil butter)
12 oz. real chocolate chips
1 c. creamy peanut butter

Melt butter, chips and peanut butter over medium heat. Put Chex in large pan or bowl. Pour melted mixture over Chex and stir to coat well.

Take large brown bag and put 3 cups of powdered sugar in it. Close bag and shake to coat bag. Next pour mixture into bag and shake like mad. Looks and feels like puppy chow. Stores very good!

My son made this recipe when he was in high school. I do not remember using so much butter. It would seem to be very greasy using 2 entire sticks. I think we used 2 Tablespoons of butter. Everyone loved eating this "Puppy Chow".
