SAVORY STEWED POTATOES | |
6 med. potatoes, peeled 1 med. onion, chopped 1 med. green pepper, thinly sliced 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp. all purpose flour 2 tbsp. butter 1 bouillon cube 1 c. boiling water 1/2 red pepper, thinly sliced Dash black pepper Chopped parsley Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in flour and black pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in water and stir into mix. Cut potatoes in wedges and put in mix and bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper. Serves 4. |
