BEEF POT ROAST 
3-4 lb. rump or pot roast
4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
2 onions, sliced
Seasoning salt to taste
Black pepper
1 c. beef consomme

Use a slow cooker. Put vegetables in bottom of cooker. Salt and pepper meat; put in pot. Add beef consomme. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or cook on high for 4-5 hours. Can also be cooked without vegetables.
