SPICY BAKED CHICKEN WINGS
2-2 1/2 lb. chicken wings

MARINADE:

1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. peanut oil or other oil
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/3 c. sherry or wine (white)
1 tsp. dried rosemary or fresh rosemary sprigs

Rinse chicken wings. Pat dry. Arrange in shallow baking dish. For marinade: Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, mustard, wine and rosemary in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool. Pour marinade over chicken wings. Cover, marinate for 3 hours or more in a cool place. Remove from refrigerator. Let sit at room temperature 1/2 hour before baking. Bake chicken wings at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, turning and basting from time to time while baking. Remove chicken wings to paper towels to drain. Serve hot.
