ESCALLOPED POTATOES 
6-8 lg. white potatoes
2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion
Scant 1/4 c. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

1. Peel potatoes and onion.

2. Slice and layer in baking dish (potatoes, onion, salt, pepper and butter about 3 times). Spoon 1 tablespoon flour lightly over each layer.

3. Pour milk carefully over potatoes.

4. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
