MICROWAVE SALISBURY STEAK
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained, divided
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed golden mushroom soup, divided, or regular mushroom soup with teaspoon of Kitchen Bouquet will be okay
1 egg
3/4 c. milk, divided
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper

Chop half of mushrooms. In large bowl, combine chopped mushrooms, ground beef, 1/4 can of soup, egg, 1/4 cup milk, bread crumbs, onion and pepper. Shape into 6 patties. Arrange in 8 inch square dish. Cover with wax paper. Cook at Medium High 13 to 14 minutes. Drain off grease, let stand, covered for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, in small glass bowl, combine remaining soup, mushrooms and milk. Heat at Medium High 3 to 4 minutes. Stir once. Pour sauce over patties, and heat again for 2 to 3 minutes on Medium. Your microwave time may vary from ours.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
