MICROWAVE SALISBURY STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can golden mushroom soup
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion
Dash of pepper
1/3 c. water

Combine ground beef, 1/4 cup soup, bread crumbs, egg, onion, and pepper. Shape mixture into 6 patties. Place patties in a 2-quart casserole. Microwave at 100% power for 8-10 minutes. Turn patties halfway through cooking time. Drain excess grease from patties. Blend remaining soup with water. Pour over meat. Microwave at 100% power for 3 to 4 minutes. Serves 6.

NOTE: Cream of mushroom soup and 1 package dry onion soup mix can be substituted for golden mushroom soup and chopped onion. Use 1/2 package of soup mix in patties and 1/2 package soup in making the sauce.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
