AMISH SALAD DRESSING 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
3/4 tsp. celery seed
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. mild prepared mustard
1 tbsp. onion
3/4 c. chilled salad oil

Put all ingredients in blender, except salad oil, and blend until well mixed. Gradually add well chilled salad oil and blend until thick and emulsified. This is good both on lettuce and cabbage salads. Yields: 1 pint.
