LOW CALORIE CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
4 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 1/2 c. (1 lb. can) tomatoes
1 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. salt
Few grains pepper

Brown meat in oil. Add onions and celery. Cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, bring to boil. Make two alternate layers of cabbage and meat mixtures, 4 layers in all. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees in oven or electric skillet for 45 minutes. Makes 6 servings at 242 calories per serving.
