1 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
3 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. nuts, chopped

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, then pineapple. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
