CRISP SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. orange extract
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. mace
Cake decorations (optional)

Cream butter, extracts and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift together flour, salt, soda, and mace; stir into butter mixture. Chill. Roll cookies out to 1/8 to 1/16 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheets; decorate as desired with cake decorations or sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 9 minutes. Yields: 8 dozen.
