LEMONADE BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 (6 oz.) can frozen concentrate for lemonade, thawed

Spoon flour into measuring cup; level off with spatula. Sift with baking powder.

Combine sugar, shortening, milk, eggs, sifted flour, and 1 tablespoon lemonade concentrate. Beat with electric mixer 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into well-greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 50 to 60 minutes or until loaf tests done.

Loosen bread from edges of pan. Brush with remaining lemonade concentrate. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan. When loaf is cool, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if you wish. Makes 1 loaf.
