MOM'S DINNER ROLLS 
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm (not hot) water
1 c. cold water
2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together. Sift in 8 or 9 cups flour. Mix; knead mixture. Put in greased bowl and let rise, then put in roll pans and let rise another hour. Bake at 425 degrees until brown.
