LASAGNE 
1 lb. ground chuck, hamburger meat
1 can (16 oz.) whole tomatoes or pkg. frozen tomatoes, cut up into pieces
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 sm. jar sliced mushrooms (Green Giant)
1 tsp. salt (or salt to taste)
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese, sm. curd
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
2 to 3 tbsp. onion powder
Lasagne noodles (sm. box), cooked

Cook lasagne until tender. Combine browned hamburger, tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, onion powder and mushrooms and cottage cheese. Simmer until thick but not too thick.

In a big pan pat a small amount of sauce, a layer of noodles, a layer of Mozzarella, a layer of cheddar. Continue until all sauce and cheese is used and top with noodles and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 300 degrees about 40 minutes or until cheese is melted.
