STACK PIE 
10 egg whites
1 stick butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. whipping cream

ICING:

3 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix egg whites, stick of butter, sugar, cornstarch and whipping cream and pour into 5 pie shells with edges trimmed off. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

In a 4 to 6 quart pan (must be large as icing foams). Combine sugar, butter, buttermilk, corn syrup and soda. Cook to 238 degrees (of a candy thermometer) then beat for 7 minutes.
