APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
3/4 c. butter
1 c. apricot jam

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and oatmeal. Cut in butter until crumbles. pat 2/3 of this mixture into oblong pan. Spread with jam and cover with remaining crumb mixture. Pat down lightly. Bake 35 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool. Cut into bars.
