SEAFOOD NEWBURG | |
1/4 c. butter, melted 1 1/2 tbsp. flour 1 lb. total lobster, shrimp, scallops, cooked and cut in chunks 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of paprika 1/4 c. sherry 2 egg yolks 1 1/2 c. light cream Stir flour into butter and cook 1 minute. In small bowl, combine eggs and cream; gradually add to flour and butter, blend well. Add seafood, paprika, and sherry. Cook over low heat or hot water until thickened, stirring frequently. Serve over toast points, patty shells or rice. This is very easy to make. Get the grocery store to cook the seafood for you. It is delicious. Great for special occasions. Serves 4. |
