NORWEGIAN COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 tbsp. cold water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
3 eggs
Powdered sugar frosting
Nuts
Coconut

Mix 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup flour and 3 tablespoons cold water like pie crust. Spread in 10"x15" cookie sheet. Boil 1 cup water, 1/2 cup butter and vanilla together. Remove from heat, add flour and eggs, one at a time. Spread over pie crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until golden brown. Frost when cool and top with nuts or coconut.
