NORWEGIAN GOLD CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Cream butter and flour in bowl at low speed for 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift sugar, baking powder and salt, add gradually. Add extract to the mixture and beat another 2 minutes. Turn into greased and floured bundt pan and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
