ORANGE GOLD CAKE 
3/4 c. soft butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
8 egg yolks
Grated rind 1 orange
1/3 c. orange juice
2 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
2 3/4 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar until light. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add orange rind and juice. Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk, beating until smooth. Pour into two 9-inch layer pans, lined on the bottom with paper. Bake in moderate 375 degree oven about 20 minutes. Cool and frost as desired.
