RUTH'S NORWEGIAN APPLE CAKE 
1 1/4 lb. cooking apples (McIntosh), peeled and cut into medium slices
1/4 c. sugar or to taste
1 tsp. cinnamon or to taste
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. Port wine

Soak raisins in the port wine a few hours. In large bowl combine apples, sugar and cinnamon. Grease pie or tart form with butter. Arrange apples in form. Sprinkle raisins and port wine over apple mixture. Make dough topping with: 2/3 c. sugar About 4 1/2 oz. (125 gr.) butter

Mix well and crumble over the apple mixture. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or Creme Chantilly!
