BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
5 bananas (or cover 13x9x2 pan)
2 c. crushed graham cracker crumbs
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, drained well
1 sm. jar red cherries
3 sticks butter, softened
2 eggs
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1/2 c. nuts (pecans or peanuts - more if desired)

Mix 1 stick butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press into pan 13x9x2.

Beat eggs, remaining 2 sticks butter and sugar for 15 minutes, time correctly with electric mixer, VERY IMPORTANT TO BEAT ONLY 15 MINUTES.

Spread mixture on top of crumbs, then slice bananas on top.

Spread with pineapple, cover with Cool Whip, then sprinkle with nuts.

Place cherries on top and refrigerate overnight.
