SAUSAGE AND WILD RICE | |
1 lb. sausage meat 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms 1 can water chestnuts, sliced 1 large onion 1 box UNCLE BEN'S® Wild Rice 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. butter 1 c. chicken broth slivered almonds Brown sausage and drain. Sauté mushrooms, water chestnuts and onions in the sausage grease. Cook rice as directed. Make white sauce out of flour, butter and broth. Mix together and top with slivered almonds.
