OAT FLAKE - BANANA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. orange juice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. mashed banana
1/3 c. melted shortening
2 c. oat flakes
1/4 c. coarsely chopped nuts

Place dry ingredients in bowl. Add banana, orange juice, egg and shortening. Blend slightly, then stir in cereal and nuts. Pour into 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.
