PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 (1 lb.) can or 1 2/3 c. pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Dash of nutmeg
2/3 c. water
1 c. chopped walnuts

These are the spices we like; you may prefer cloves, etc. added.

Combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Add pumpkin. Sift together dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture. Add water and nuts. Pour into loaf pans and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Recipe makes 3 loaves.

It can also be made in the pumpkin cans, filled half full; or it will make 2 fancy Bundt-type breads (don't fill any baking pan over half full). The Bundt type pans take 15 minutes more baking time.
