1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt shortening and let cool for 5 minutes. Mix all ingredients together and roll into a ball with fork. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300 degrees until lightly brown.
