FLAMING BRANDY, FRAISES JUBILEE,
STRAWBERRY JUBILEE
 
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
4 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 c. fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 tbsp. brandy
2 tbsp. Grand Marnier liqueur

Place the ice cream in four champagne glasses. Keep in the freezer until ready to serve. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Add the strawberries and mix well. Remove from the heat, add the brandy, then return to heat and carefully ignite the vapors. Repeat to flame the Grand Marnier. Spoon the strawberries and sauce over the ice cream and serve immediately.
