BRAZILIAN JUBILEE COOKIES
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt or less
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. Brazil nuts, chopped very fine or ground
3/4 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 or 2 tbsp. instant coffee, decaf or reg.
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. solid milk chocolate Hershey Kisses

Mix eggs, butter, coffee, vanilla, brown sugar and nuts; mix well. Add rest of ingredients except Kisses. Shape into approximately 1" balls, don't flatten. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 3" apart. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and leave on sheet. Gently press Kiss in center of each cookie. As it softens, move around to spread, this will flatten cookie. As Kiss gets softer use table knife to frost. Let sit on sheet 1 minute then remove to paper towel to cool. Let sit several hours for chocolate to firm. Makes approximately 36 cookies.

These are really good! Really. Didn't have Brazil nuts so used walnuts and found that they bake better at 350°F for the same amount of time.
