1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
48 chocolate stars or kisses

Cream 1/2 cup butter with 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup peanut butter. Blend in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat well with 2 tablespoons milk. Add dry ingredients. Blend all well. Take rounded teaspoon of dough, make into ball, roll in granulated sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet 1" apart. Bake at 375 degrees 10 minutes. Take out of oven, place a chocolate star or kiss on top of each cookie. Press lightly. Return to oven for 5 minutes.
