MILK GRAVY 
1/2 c. Crisco or meat drippings
1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. milk
Salt and pepper

Use meat drippings or melt 1/2 cup Crisco into a large skillet. Pour 1/2 cup flour with salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat until flour is mixed well with Crisco and browned. Gradually mix in 2 cups of milk. Turn on low heat and stir until thick.
