7 LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 (15 oz.) tomato sauce and 1/2 can water
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 lb. lean ground beef
Another can 15 oz. tomato sauce
1/4 can water
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Layer the ingredients in a 2 quart baking dish with tight fitting lid. Cover with 4 strips of bacon, cut in half. Put lid on dish. Bake 1 hour, uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until bacon is crisp.
