MARINATED RUMP ROAST | |
3 1/2-4 lb. boneless rump roast 3/4 c. water 1/3 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. thyme 1/4-1/2 tsp. garlic powder Mix above ingredients together. Put holes in meat with fork. Then put in plastic ziplock bag. Pour marinade in bag. Close tightly and place in refrigerator overnight. Turn bag over to get juice on other side. (Rotate several times.) Cook roast uncovered at 325 degrees for 2 hours. The last 30 minutes, baste with sauce. Add 1/4 cup water to sauce and heat to serve over meat. |
