DOROTHY'S CHICKEN AND RICE | |
1 to 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, butter 1 c. rice 1 env. Lipton Beefy Onion Soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 soup can of water Chicken pieces, your choice, to serve 4, sprinkle lightly with garlic powder and freshly ground black pepper. In a large oven proof skillet heat oil and add rice. Stir to coat grain. Stir in mushroom soup, beefy onion soup and water. Arrange chicken pieces over the top of the rice; cover skillet. Place in 350 degree oven and bake for about 1 hour or until almost done. Remove cover, let bake 10 to 15 more minutes to better brown chicken. |
