STRAWBERRY BUTTER | |
1 pt. fresh strawberries or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed & drained 1/2 lb. unsalted butter 1 c. powdered sugar (if using frozen berries, use 1/2 c. sugar) If using fresh strawberries, clean and cap. Put ingredients in blender in order given. Bleand until smooth and creamy. Chill nd keep stored in refrigerator. Serve on rolls for a luncheon, or with toast, pancakes or muffins. Makes 2 1/2 cups. When blending, mixture will look like it is curdling. Keep on blending about 5 minutes, until smooth and creamy. It can be frozen. |
