CRANBERRY - APPLE SAUCE 
1 c. cranberries, washed
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. maple or maple flavored syrup
2 med. apples, pared, cored and chopped
2 tbsp. butter

In medium saucepan, combine cranberries and sugar, mash cranberries slightly with a fork. Add maple syrup and 1/4 cup water; mix well. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes or until cranberries pop. Add apple and butter, simmer covered 5 minutes. Cool then serve.
