SAUSAGE ROLL | |
2 lbs. breakfast sausage, fried and broken into small pieces, drain well 2 pkgs. crescent rolls 3 eggs, slightly beaten, reserve 2 tbsp. 1/4 lb. grated Swiss cheese 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. garlic powder Roll out one package of crescent rolls at a time. Do not separate the rolls as explained on the package. Each package has two rolls inside, roll out each roll overlapping one to the other. Roll with a rolling pin. You want to make it wider, not longer. You may need to pinch the rolls together. Mix all the ingredients together and spread half of the mixture on the one package of rolls. Spread out to about 1/2 inch from the edge and roll up jelly roll style. Fold the edges down and under. Do the same with the other package of crescent rolls. Brush with the egg that you saved and bake at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Cool slightly before slicing. |
