BARBECUE SAUCE FOR CHICKEN OR
RIBS
 
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. mustard
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. lemon juice or vinegar
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt to taste
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. Worcestershire
3/4 c. catsup

Cook onion in butter in saucepan. Add catsup, water, lemon juice, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Cook 15 minutes. Pour over meat.
