CHERRY DUMP CAKE 
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1 yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter

Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Spread cherry pie filling in bottom of pan. Spread pineapple over cherries. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pineapple. Thinly slice butter and place on top of cake mix. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20 to 30 minutes until butter melts into cake and forms a golden topping. Serve warm or cold with whipped topping or ice cream.
