1 c. Crisco (DO NOT use butter)
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. hot water

Cream together first 4 ingredients, add eggs. Mix soda and salt with flour. Add to creamed ingredients. Then add hot water and chips. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
