FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
9 inch baked pie shell
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 c. water
2 tbsp. strawberry gelatin powder (strawberry Jello)
1 qt. fresh whole strawberries, trimmed and washed

Mix sugar, cornstarch, syrup and water together. Bring to a boil and cook until thick and clear. Remove from stove. Add gelatin powder, stirring until dissolved. Cool.

Arrange strawberries to cover bottom of baked pie shell. Pour gelatin mixture over strawberries and chill until set. 8 servings.
