CONGO BARS 
1/2 box brown sugar
2/3 c. Crisco oil
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Dash salt
1/2 bag chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat sugar, oil and eggs until smooth. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Stir until blended or heat on low until blended. Add chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.

Spread in long jelly roll pan. Batter will be spread thin. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until brown. Cut into squares.
